The range light lantern has been developed to be used as a main leading light signal in harsh marine environment.
It is designed for up to 10 years of unattended operation - which is a great improvement compared to incandescent lamps.
The light source, which is formed using over 100 LEDs, has a number of parallel connections to eliminate a total failure of the signal due to a failure of one single LED.
The optic lens of LO-1/LED consists of over one hundred small, integrated fresnel lens sections forming a light beam with a medium horizontal divergence. The lens is moulded in UV stabilized Lexan™ polycarbonate which ensures durability of light output with minimal fading or discoloration while aging.
The base is manufactured of corrosion resistant marine aluminum alloy finished externally with a high quality hot baked epoxy.
The default controller is the LED driver that is adjustable to a wide range of output current enabling the light intensity to be adjusted from 20% to 100% intensity. Optionally the unit can also be delivered with the LEDFlasher
